COMPOSITION

100 mg Enrofloxacin

USAGE AND DOSAGE

The recommended pharmacological dosage of Pentril 10% is 5 mg/kg l.w./day, while the daily practical dosage is 1 ml per 20 kg live weight. The product is administered by intramuscular (i.m), subcutaneous (s.c) or intravenous (i.v) route. The treatment continues for three days. Product can be administered by subcutaneous, intramuscular or intravenous route in cattle. Subcutaneous and intramuscular routes are not recommended in sheep and goats. The volume administered in a single injection site should not exceed 10 ml in cattle, and 5 ml in sheep and goats. If needed, two doses should be divided into two and administered in different sites. It is recommended to administer it for 5 days at a dosage of 5 mg/kg/live weight (1ml/20 kg live weight) in case of severe and chronic infections and salmonellosis.

INDICATIONS

Pentril 10% Solution for Injection is indicated for the treatment of respiratory and digestive system diseases caused by enrofloxacin-sensitive gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria and Mycoplasmas such as pleuropneumonia and gastoenteritis , septicemia, Colibacillosis, Salmonellosis, Pasteurellosis infections and other soft-tissue diseases, as well as complications due to enrofloxacin-sensitive bacteria in viral diseases in cattle, goats and sheep.

WITHDRAWAL TIME

Meat: 4 days (sheep), 6 days (goats), 5 days (cattle, i.v.), 12 days (cattle s.c.)
Milk: 3 days (sheep), 4 days (goats), 3 days (cattle, i.v.), 4 days (cattle s.c.)
