Tilmicosin phosphate equivalent to 300 mg tilmicosine base
The daily dosage of tilmicosin is 15-20 mg/kg live weight in broiler chickens and turkeys. It is administered in drinking water at a dosage of 5-7 ml medicinal product per 100 kg live weight. The treatment continues for 3 days.
15.5 mg/ kg b.w./ day in calves, twice per day for 3-5 days.
Symtil 30% Oral Solution is indicated for the treatment of respiratory infections caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, M. Synovia, Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale, Pasteurella multocida and other tilmicosin-sensitive microorganisms in chicken and turkey.
Treatment of Mannheimia haemolytica, pasteurella multocida, Mycoplasma bovis and mycoplasma dispar related respiratory system infections in calf herds.
Meat: 12 days (chicken), 19 days (turkey), 42 days (calf)
Not to be used in chicken and turkey producing egg intended for human consumption. Not to be used within 14 days of egg laying period.
