In the treatment of coccidiosis, it is administered at a daily pharmacological dosage of 7 mg/kg/l.w. for 2 days. Accordingly, 280 ml product/1000 kg live weight represents the daily practical dosage. The medicated water can be prepared in two different ways. The daily dosage is added in the drinking water that is sufficient to be consumed in 8 hours, and it is given for 2 consecutive days. The product at a daily dosage is added in the drinking water to be consumed in 24 hours.
It is indicated for the treatment of and protection against coccidiosis in chickens and turkeys. Below are the most important coccidiosis agents, which are included in the spectrum of action of Symcox Oral Solution.; For chickens: Eimeria acervulina, Eimeria brunetti, Eimeria maxima, Eimeria mivati, Eimeria necatrix, Eimeria tenella For turkeys: Eimeria adenoides, Eimeria meleagrimitis
The chickens and turkeys, raised for meat, should not be used for human consumption during the treatment and until a period of 21 days elapses following the last drug administration. It should be administered to chickens and turkeys producing egg for human consumption.
