Symful Solution for Injection

COMPOSITION

 Flunixin meglumine equivalent to 50 mg base

USAGE AND DOSAGE

It is administered at a dose of 2 ml per 45 kg live weight by a calculation of 2.2 mg/kg l.w. in cattle. Administration by intravenous (i.v.) route is recommended in cattle. The treatment may continue for 3 days. In addition to the administration, the reasons of acute inflammation should be found, and other related therapies should be applied. When it is administered in combination with oxytetracycline for the treatment of any respiratory disease in cattle, the dosage is 2 mg/kg live weight. In horses: It is administered at a dose of 1 ml per 45 kg live weight by a calculation of 1.1 mg/kg live weight. It can be administered by intramuscular (i.m) or intravenous (i.v) route, and the treatment may continue for 5 days. Sufficient action is obtained within 2 hours and lasts 24-36 hours. Administration by intravenous (i.v.) route is recommended for rapid relieving of pains due to colics. INDICATIONS

Symful Solution for Injection, For cattle; It is indicated to support the treatment in cases of acute inflammation in infectious diseases, the diseases accompanied by fever, toxic shock cases, lung diseases, mastitis, metritis, agalactia in particular. It is used in combination with oxytetracycline for the treatment of respiratory diseases in cattle. Horses; It is indicated for painful situations, especially for the pain caused by smooth muscle spasms of internal organs, painful and inflammatory conditions of the skeletal-muscular system.

WITHDRAWAL TIME

The cattle should not be sent to slaughtering during the treatment and until a period of “21” days elapses following the last drug administration. The cow milk obtained during the treatment and before “10” milking (5 days) following the last drug administration should not be used for human consumption.
