USAGE AND DOSAGE

The pharmacological dosage is 10 mg/kg live weight in all target species, while the practical dosage is 1ml/20kg/day in cattle, sheep and goats, and 0,3ml/5 kg/day in turkeys. It is administered by intramuscular (im) route in all target species. A treatment duration of 5-6 days is sufficient for administration. The volume administered in a single injection site should not exceed 10 ml in cattle, and 5 ml in sheep and goats. If needed, total dose should be divided and administered in different sites.

INDICATIONS

Taylobar Solution for Injection is indicated for the treatment of pneumonia, metritis, pyoderma, early mastitis and agalactia, pododermatitis, diphtheria, dysentery, arthritis, enteritis caused by tylosin-sensitive bacteria in cattle, sheep and goats; respiratory system, digestive tract and soft tissue infections including especially liver pain in goats, and respiratory system, digestive tract and soft tissue infections including especially CRD in turkeys.

WITHDRAWAL TIME

The cattle, sheep and goats should not be sent to slaughtering during the treatment and until a period of 28 days elapses following the last drug administration. The turkeys should not be sent to slaughtering during the treatment and until a period of 28 days elapses following the last drug administration. Milk obtained during the treatment and for a period of 4 days (8 milking) following the last drug administration should not be used for human consumption.
